ECMC is the European Confederation of Motorcycle Clubs and counts over 40 member clubs across Europe specialising in Bike Runs and other social activities aimed primarily at gay men with interests in motorcycles and fetishes for leather & rubber & uniform clothing.
The two Italian leather groups are all members of the EAAE: ; the LFI (north Italy - previously known as MLCV) since 1995 and the LCR (Rome) since 2001. The LCM (Milan) was a member since 1992 and to 2010, when it closed.
At the moment 48 European clubs are members of the ECMC, from 16 different countries, from Ireland, to Finland, from Norway to Spain. Germany and United Kingdom are the most represented countries in the ECMC.
Many events have taken place in Italy so far: the only ECMC AGM (Annual General Meeting) in Italy took place in Milan in 2000; in 2003 the MLCV organised the Annual General Meeting on the Italian Dolomites and in 2007 the BikeRun was organised by the LCR in Abruzzo.
In 2009, the AGM took place for the first time in Rome. In 2011 it will take place in Copenaghen.
