The Contest took place in Rome during the ECMC AGM 2009, the 3 October 2009.
The contest was held at RistoTheatre, an old charming theatre used also as restaurant. The five contestants (from Italy, Norway, Germany, Denmark and Holland) were interviewed and then performed live on stage.

Dear leather friends,
First of all I want to thank the Leather Club Roma for a great weekend in Rome and everyone who supported me in the Mr Leather Europe contest. I am looking forward to all the things that will come on my way now, from continuing my work in Amsterdam’s leather community to meeting other European leather clubs and representing Europe in the IML contest.
As Mr Leather Europe I hope to contribute to and express a positive image for our European leather community and to inspire those who are just at the beginning of their own leather journey. I will take a stand for fetish lifestyles and what always has been important in all our leather clubs: our shared belief that every man should be able to be sexually free and our valuing of meeting each other and working together in friendship.
