Data sharing and transfers outside the EU
For administrative purposes, the controller may disclose data to external collaborators, such as accountants, to the extent necessary to deal with requests received through the website.
Under Article 43 of the Privacy Code and Article 44 of the GDPR, personal data may be transferred to third parties outside the European Union or European Economic Area. In such cases, the controller ensures appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission, with the overseas recipient to provide protection consistent with European law.
How data is processed
Personal data is processed mainly using electronic procedures and systems, such as databases and CRM platforms, for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected. Processing follows the principles of lawfulness, fairness, proportionality and relevance under applicable privacy law.
Members’ personal details are shared with third parties only for accounting and tax purposes, such as invoicing and financial reporting, or in response to requests from the authorities.
Social network features
The website may use social plugins, which embed social network features, such as Facebook’s “Like” button. Plugins are identified by the logo of the relevant platform, such as Facebook, Google, Twitter or LinkedIn.
If you interact with a plugin or leave a comment, the relevant information is transmitted by your browser directly to the social network and stored by that platform. Please consult each platform’s privacy policy for information about the purposes and methods of collection, processing, use and retention, and how to exercise your rights.
Links to and from third-party websites
This website may link to external websites, and other websites may link here. The controller is not responsible for personal data requested or provided on third-party websites or for the management of authentication credentials supplied by third parties.
Data retention
Browsing logs, where recorded, are retained by the controller for six months.
Data you supply is processed for the duration of the contractual relationship and retained afterwards only for the periods required by law, unless further retention is necessary to establish, exercise or defend a right, meet other legal obligations or comply with orders from the authorities.
Your rights
You may exercise your rights in accordance with, and subject to the limits of, applicable privacy law. You may ask the controller for:
- Access: confirmation of whether your data is being processed, further information about that processing and a copy of the data, within reasonable limits.
- Rectification: correction or completion of inaccurate personal data.
- Erasure: deletion where data is no longer necessary, consent is withdrawn, an objection applies, processing is unlawful or deletion is required by law, subject to applicable exceptions, including disputes and legal claims.
- Restriction: restriction of processing under the conditions in Article 18 of the GDPR. Restricted data may generally only be stored unless you consent to other processing or an exception in Article 18(2) applies.
- Objection: objection at any time to processing based on legitimate interests, unless there are overriding legitimate grounds, including the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. An objection to direct marketing takes precedence over the controller’s interest in such marketing.
- Portability: receipt of your data, or its transmission to another controller you identify, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.
Under Article 7(3) of the GDPR, you may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Italy, this is the Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali.
To exercise your rights, report a problem or request clarification, use the website’s contact form, email info@lcroma.com, or write to the controller at the postal address above.
