Mister Rubber Italia 2025 and XI Fetish Pride Italy: a triumph of inclusivity and fetish culture in the heart of Rome

From 6 to 8 December 2024, Rome hosted the eleventh edition of Fetish Pride Italy, consolidating its position as the European epicentre of fetish culture. Organised by Leather Club Roma and Leather Friends Italia, the event attracted enthusiasts and curious people from all over Italy and abroad, offering a rich programme of cultural, social and recreational activities.
The high point was the election of Mister Rubber Italia 2025, won by Effe. His innovative interpretation of rubber, detached from traditional associations with sexuality and gender identity, brought a breath of freshness and authenticity, promoting a message of expressive freedom and inclusivity.
A distinctive element of this edition was the Social Market on Saturday 7 December. This space allowed participants to buy fetish clothing and accessories at affordable prices, spreading fetish culture and making it more inclusive. The presence of sponsors such as Black Crystal Latex, an Italian brand specialising in high-quality latex clothing and accessories, and Rubber Rabbit, dedicated to the handmade production of latex made in Italy, enriched the market’s offer, providing products of excellence and innovative design.
A result of this initiative was the birth of a virtual gathering place, the Italian Rubber Community, which offers enthusiasts a space to share experiences and information and promote future events, further strengthening ties within the Italian fetish community.
An event beyond fetish
Fetish Pride Italy is not only a celebration of fetish style and practices, but plays a crucial role in promoting LGBTQIA+ culture. Through workshops, debates and moments of togetherness, the event created a safe space for exploring identities and sexuality, helping to fight prejudice and stigmatisation.
