Literary series: Corpi di Carta – Books and desires that speak of pleasure, sex and freedom

“Corpi di Carta – Books and desires that speak of pleasure, sex and freedom” is born in Rome, a cycle of literary appointments that weaves together culture, activism and sexuality. Curated by Why Not – Book and promoted by Leather Club Roma together with the Mario Mieli Homosexual Culture Circle, the series gives space to books and authors able to address pleasure and desire from new, queer and liberating perspectives.

The meetings will take place at Skyline Club Roma, a symbolic place of the fetish and queer community, and will be moderated by Davide Ferraro (WhyNot_Book).

A fundamental text for approaching the world of BDSM in a conscious and safe way, with practical advice, theory and experience.

18 October 2025 – 9:00 pm
Petricore by Matteo Zanini (Rossini Editore)
A novel that interweaves desire, mystery and poetry, portraying bodies and relationships through intense and imaginative writing.

A path between literature, pleasure and body politics

Corpi di Carta is not just a series of presentations: it is a laboratory of ideas and narratives, in which literature becomes a tool of liberation and awareness. Each chosen book opens a window on crucial themes: male sexuality, chemsex practices, BDSM cultures, the most intimate and poetic forms of desire.
